Welcome to Botinz Enterprises (“Botinz”), a platform designed to connect freelancers with clients. Our mission is to provide a seamless and secure environment where clients can find talented freelancers for their projects. This refund policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be granted to clients and freelancers. By using our platform, you agree to adhere to this refund policy.
General Refund Policy
Commission Fees
Botinz charges a commission fee from the payments made by clients to freelancers. The commission fee is non-refundable except under specific circumstances outlined in this policy
Disputes and Resolution
In case of a dispute between a client and a freelancer, both parties are encouraged to resolve the issue amicably.
If a client is dissatisfied with a job or milestone completed by a freelancer, they are encouraged to communicate directly with the freelancer to discuss adjustments or revisions.
If mutual agreement cannot be reached and the client decides not to approve the completion, they should contact our support team promptly to initiate a dispute resolution process.
Booking Requests
If a booking request from a client is not accepted by the freelancer within 2 working days from the request date, funds will be automatically returned to the client's wallet.
Client Refund Policy
Unsatisfactory Work
If the client is not satisfied with a completed milestone in a job delivered by the freelancer, they must reject the approval request, it is advised they notify Botinz through our complaint and dispute resolution channels within five [5] days of project completion. The client must provide a detailed explanation of why the work is unsatisfactory.
Upon receipt of a complaint, Botinz will review the case and may request additional information from both the client and the freelancer.
If the claim is found to be valid, the client may receive a refund for the amount paid, excluding the commission fee.
Non-Delivery of Work
If the freelancer fails to deliver the work by the agreed-upon deadline, the client is entitled to a full refund, excluding the commission fee.
The client must report the non-delivery within five [5] days of the missed deadline.
Fraudulent Activity
If there is evidence of fraudulent activity by the freelancer, the client will receive a full refund, including the commission fee. Botinz will conduct a thorough investigation to confirm the fraudulent activity.
Freelancer Refund Policy
Unfair Dispute Resolution
If a freelancer believes that a dispute was unfairly resolved in favor of the client, they can appeal the decision within two [2] days.
Botinz will review the appeal and, if justified, may issue a partial or full refund to the freelancer.
Special Circumstances for Refund
Mutual Agreement for Refund
If both the client and freelancer mutually agree to cancel the project and request a refund, Botinz will facilitate the process. The commission fee will be non-refundable.
Platform Issues
In the event of technical issues or errors on the platform that prevent the completion of a project, Botinz will work with both parties to resolve the issue and determine an appropriate refund if necessary.
Refund Process
Initiating a Refund Request
Refund requests must be submitted through the Botinz customer support system within the specified time frames mentioned in this policy. The request should include all relevant details and supporting documentation.
Review and Resolution
Botinz will review each refund request on a case-by-case basis. The review process may take up to Ten [10] business days. Both the client and freelancer may be contacted for additional information during the review process.
Issuing Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within Five [5] business days of the approval notice. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used by the client.
Final Provisions
Amendments
Botinz reserves the right to amend this refund policy at any time. Changes will be communicated to users via email or platform notifications.
